Sponge on refillable shell old or broken? Replace your old sponge on your refillable shell easily with this sponge replacement. Comes as a pair, so (2) sponges will be sent.
New to AquaFX is the Silicate Blaster DI cartridge designed for water supplies with heavy Silicates.
Mixed Bed DI resin paired with Silicate Blaster DI resin to allow for additional removal of Silicate.
The NH2CL (Chloramine) Blaster upgrade kit, will remove the chlorine + ammonia also known as chloramines before passing through the reverse osmosis membrane, therefore extending the life of your membranes and deionization (DI) filters. Our NH2CL Blaster filters also have a longer life span then the standard carbon block.
The NH2CL (Chloramine) blaster works effectively only when run in series to allow enough contact time with the water, that is why an extra canister is provided. To install this upgrade:
- You transfer your first sediment filter into the single canister provided
- Discard your current carbon block, and place the 2 NH2CL Filters in the 2 empty canisters on your system.
- Use the provided tube to connect the single canister with sediment filter to the beggining of your system, and
- Connect the feed line to the sediment filter.
Replace both the pre-fitlers and the DI's at the same time with this great filter set! Filters included are....
- (1) 1 Micron Sediment
- (1) Chlorine Guzzler Carbon Block (Not NH2CL Blaster)
- (2) DI filters
**If you run smaller than 1 Micron your Sediment can clog very fast**

The AquaFX 10" Carbon Block for RO pre-treatment. 10" Carbon Block is rated for approx 3,750 Gallons of water at 2ppm Cl. The worst thing you can do is neglect your carbon block and allow Chlorine (Cl) to come into contact with your TFC RO Membrane. At that point you will need to purchase a new RO Membrane as the old one will be ruined. Don't wait until its too late, change your pre-filters!
